PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which suppresses variation in fastening force generated in a fastening state due to a difference in the height position of an outer column by tilt adjustment, and maintains stable fastening rigidity.SOLUTION: A steering device comprises: a holding body part 1 for holding an inner pipe 8; an outer column A having a clamp 2 composed of both fastening parts 21; a fixing bracket 4 having fixing side parts 41 for sandwiching the outer column A; and a fastening tool 7. The steering device has: first contact parts 31 formed on outer surface sides of both fastening parts 21; second contact parts 32 located above both fastening parts 21 and formed over a vertical direction of the holding body part 1; and third contact parts 33 located above a shaft core of the holding body part 1 and the second contact parts 32. Apical surfaces of the first contact part 31 and the third contact part 33 are formed so as to have equal distances in a horizontal diameter direction. An apical surface of the second contact part 32 is located inward in the horizontal diameter direction than the apical surface of the first contact part 31 and the apical surface of the third contact part 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
