The invention relates to a memory device (22) for sensing a longitudinal displacement of a vehicle seat (1) guided in a longitudinal adjustment mechanism. The longitudinal adjustment mechanism has at least one first seat rail (2) and a second seat rail (4), wherein the first seat rail (2) is arranged in the second seat rail (4) so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction from a memory position into an easy-entry position and back. The memory device (22) has a gearing (30) which detects a displacement of the first seat rail (2) relative to the second seat rail (4). Furthermore, a multi-functional part (222) arranged outside the memory device (22) is provided for activating at least one further function. Furthermore, a threaded spindle (214) connected to the gearing (30) via a spur gear (212) is provided with a nut (216) which is arranged on the external thread of said threaded spindle and has an internal thread, wherein an external toothing of the nut (216) is in engagement at least in sections with a cooperating internal toothing of a toothed segment (220). The nut (216) is guided in the toothed segment (220) in the axial direction relative to the threaded spindle (214). A rotation of the threaded spindle (214) can be transmitted to the toothed segment (220) when a stop (214a) of the threaded spindle (214) is in contact with an edge (216a) of the nut (216), wherein a rotation of the toothed segment (220) drives the multi-functional part (222). The invention also relates to a vehicle seat comprising a memory device. |
