PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal die for casting capable of effectively performing cooling by a cooling member even in the case a change in the dimensions therein caused by thermal expansion is generated. SOLUTION: A casting device 1 is equipped with: a metal die body 2a in which a cavity 15 is formed at the inside, and an aluminum alloy in a melted state or a half-melted state can be fed to the cavity 15; a cooling member 9 as a body separate from the metal die body 2, abutted against the metal die body 2, and in which a cooling water passage 9a for circulating cooling water is formed at the inside; and pan springs 11, 11 of energizing the cooling member 9 to a direction abutted against the metal die body 2, thus, even in the case the metal die body 2 is thermally expanded, the cooling member 9 always holds a state of being abutted against the metal die body 2.
