PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for use in an SMW method, which can retain desired viscosity and resistance to separation, without using bentonite, a method for producing the filler, and the SMW method using a slurry obtained through the method. SOLUTION: A filler for use in an SMW method and a method for producing the same are characterized by a filler 5 which is a mixture of silt, soil containing clay, alluvial clay, soil generated by cutting, or coal ash 1, and a predetermined amount of water 2, and composed of muddy water from which soil coarse-grained portion is removed. Therefore, in the field of execution of the SMW method, bentonite is not used, and therefore labor and time for dissolving and swelling bentonite in water can be omitted, to thereby easily prepare a slurry. |
