<p>The prosthesis has an intermediate component (3) provided with a retaining unit (33) for retaining a femoral component (1) in a position where a pad (14) is in support against convex surface of the component (3). The unit (33) defines an opening (34) in which the neck is moved based on movements of the component (1) with respect to components (2, 3). The unit (33) defines a volume for receiving pad`s part, with the surface. An independent claim is also included for a method of assembling a shoulder or hip prosthesis.</p> |
