PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling device wherein a light incident end face of an optical fiber can be easily aligned with an incident/exit face of a receiving/emitting light source in optical coupling between the optical fiber and the receiving/emitting light source, an optical coupling efficiency is high, optical fiber wiring is attainable in a small space, and manufacturing costs are reduced. SOLUTION: In the optical coupling device of this invention, a light emitting source 3 on which a convex lens 9 is formed in the optical axis of light emitting body 7 by sealing the light emitting body 7 with a sealing resin 8, and parallel optical fibers 2 formed by arranging three optical fibers 4 parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction in one and the same plane, are arranged so that the lens 9 face of the light emitting body 7 may be faced to the light incident end face 5 of the parallel optical fibers 2, and also the light exit face 6 of the light emitting body 7, the lens 9 face of the light emitting source 3, and the light incident end face 5 of the optical fiber 4 located in the center of the parallel optical fibers 2 are all located in a straight line, and thus the problems are solved.
