<p>A glazed assembly comprises a lighting channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B> provided as part of an elongate glazing component. The lighting channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B> extends in an eaves region or a roof region of the assembly. The glazing component may be capable of interengaging with and supporting another glazing component such as a glazing bar, especially with a variable angle of attachment between the two components. The lighting channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B> may be provided with a removable or openable cover <B>10</B>, <B>11</B>. The glazing component may have more than one lighting channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B>. The lighting channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B> may accommodate a light source <B>8</B> which may be an electric bulb or tube. The light source <B>8</B> may be continuous over the length of the channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B> or may comprise a series of connected light sources <B>8</B>. The glazing component may also accommodate a power source for the light source <B>8</B>, especially within the channel <B>6</B>, <B>7</B>.</p> |
