<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily read a photographed image stored to a memory at an imaging frame rate, at a desired frame rate. <P>SOLUTION: Conversion processing blocks 12a-12d are provided, which control writing and reading of an image signal from and to a memory 16 to perform frame rate conversion. Image signals SA-1 to SA-16 to be outputted in parallel for each of a plurality of continuing pixels are distributed to the conversion processing blocks 12a-12d so that an image signal read, when the conversion processing blocks 12a-12d read the image signal becomes a signal of continuing pixels. Reading the image signal by the conversion processing blocks 12a-12d enables acquiring of the signal of the plurality of continuing pixels. The reading rate of an image signal from the memory 16 can be set low, as compared to a case where the image signals for predetermined pixels are distributed, in the order of pixel to conversion processing blocks, and the stored photographed image can be read easily at the desired frame rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
