PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning apparatus capable of leaning a model suitable for identifying a piece of time series data into plural classes.SOLUTION: A learning apparatus 20 learns a model of a piece of time series data of a fixed object for identifying into plural classes. The learning apparatus 20 includes: an extraction section 12 that extracts a feature value from a piece of learning time series data; a learning section 21 that learns a model using the feature value; and an alteration section 23 that changes the granularity of the model when learning the model based on the complexity of the model.
