METHOD FOR PRODUCING FERMENTED FEED FOR LACTATING COW, AND FERMENTED FEED FOR LACTATING COW OBTAINED BY THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fermented feed for lactating cow highly containing nonfibrous carbohydrate (NFC) enough to supplement the amount of energy taken by a highly-lactating cow, and also hardly causing ruminal acidosis.

SOLUTION: There are provided the method for producing fermented feed for lactating cow includes storing lactating cow feed raw material containing 30-70 mass% of moisture and ≥36 mass% of non-fibrous carbohydrate per dry mass in a hermetically-sealed condition to ferment the raw material, wherein 2.0-10.0 mass% of calcium carbonate per the dried mass of the lactating cow feed raw material is further added to the lactating cow feed raw material, and fermented feed for lactating cow produced by the method.
