PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device capable of transmitting a high-frequency signal at high speed to a driving circuit, and to provide electronic equipment equipped with such an electro-optic device. SOLUTION: The electro-optic device comprises a substrate, an electro-optic material held on the substrate, a driving circuit, and an interface means for inputting a signal to the driving circuit from the outside. The electronic device is equipped with such the electro-optic device, wherein a shield wire or a transmission line equivalent to the shield wire for transmitting the high efficiency signal is included in part of the interface means.
