摘要

PURPOSE: A water supply method of a drum-type washing machine is provided to minimize the water used for a water supply step and to repress maximally the water that is unnecessarily wasted for protecting a heater by circulating the water fed in a predetermined receiving space into a drum by using a circulation pump. CONSTITUTION: A water supply method of a drum-type washing machine is composed of steps for feeding the water into a pre-set receiving space(S) as a water supply order is input by a user's key operation; discriminating whether the water level of the receiving space increased according to the supply of the water reaches a pre-set upper limit water level; stopping supplying the water in reaching the upper limit water level and circulating the water of the receiving space into a drum(200) for receiving the laundry by turning on a circulation pump(250); discriminating whether the water level of the receiving space decreased in circulating the water through the drum reaches a pre-set lower limit water level; and turning off the circulation pump in reaching lower limit water level and re-filling the water into the receiving space.
