Disclosed are compounds of the general formula (I) wherein R, B and Z are as defined in the specification. Additionally disclosed is a process for the preparation of the compounds disclosed above. Compounds of the type disclosed exhibit dipeptidyl-peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) enzyme inhibitory activity and are used in the treatment of diseases related with DPP-IV enzyme concentration.
