Therapeutic device and method

A therapeutic device for relieving an affected organ or part of the body comprises a mass of material such as beeswax which in use is capable of maintaining a temperature range of 36 to 38 degrees Celsius at the affected part of the body when retained on the skin near the affected part. The invention also extends to articles of apparel containing such a therapeutic device.

1. A method comprising:
identifying a set of capillaries on a human being, wherein the set of capillaries provide blood to a diseased inner organ within the human being; applying a wax mass to skin proximate to the set of capillaries, wherein the wax mass:
consists of a combination of beeswax and paraffin wax; andabsorbs body heat from the human being, to yield a body temperature wax mass; and maintaining the body temperature wax mass on the skin.
