A radio communication system, comprising: a first transmitter; a second transmitter; and a receiver; wherein the first transmitter includes: a first symbol mapping unit that outputs a first and second transmission basic symbols by performing symbol modulation of a first bit string, a first differential time-space coding unit that receives a first initial value, receives the first and second transmission basic symbols, performs differential time-space coding processing, and generating a sequence A code and a sequence B code, a first transmission unit that modulates the sequence A code and the sequence B code with a radio frequency, and outputs the sequence A code and the sequence B code as a sequence A transmission signal and a sequence B transmission signal, respectively, a first antenna that outputs the sequence A transmission signal with a radio signal, and a second antenna for outputting the sequence B transmission signal with a radio signal; wherein the second transmitter includes: a second symbol mapping unit that outputs the first and second transmission basic symbols by performing symbol modulation of the first bit string, a second differential time-space coding unit that receives a second initial value different from the first initial value, receives the first and second transmission basic symbols, performs the differential time-space coding processing, and generates a sequence C code which is different from the sequence A code and a sequence D code which is different from the sequence B code, a second transmission unit that modulates the sequence C code and the sequence D code with a radio frequency, and outputs the sequence C code and the sequence D code as a sequence C transmission signal and a sequence D transmission signal, a third antenna that outputs the sequence C transmission signal with a radio signal, and a fourth antenna that outputs the sequence D transmission signal with a radio signal; and wherein the receiver includes: a reception unit that receives and modulates the sequence A transmission signal, the sequence B transmission signal, the sequence C transmission signal, and the sequence D transmission signal, a differential time-space decoding unit that performs differential time-space decoding processing of an output signal given from the reception unit, and a symbol detection unit that restores the first bit string on the basis of an output signal given from the differential time-space decoding unit.
