<p>A transparent light conducting member comprising a transparent planar first light conductor having a rectangular light emitting plane and provided, in the back plane opposite to the rectangular light emitting plane, with a parallel groove parallel with one side thereof, and a transparent second light conductor having a columnar external shape being contained in the parallel groove and containing particles for scattering light. Assuming the scattering cross-section of the particle is F, length of the second light conductor in the propagating direction of light is L<SUB>G</SUB>, density of the particles is N<SUB>p</SUB>, and a correction coefficient is K<SUB>C</SUB>, F · N<SUB>p</SUB> · L<SUB>G</SUB> · K<SUB>C</SUB> of the light conducting member has a value of 1.1-8.2 and the K<SUB>C</SUB> has a value of 0.005-0.1.</p> |
