PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To irradiate a distant place with sufficient illuminance and to obtain high luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A light source unit 20 includes a light emission element module 30 having a chip-on-board structure having a planar light emission part 35 formed by arranging a plurality of LEDs on a substrate 34; a lens body 31 which is provided to cover the light emission part 35 and has openings 41, 42 for direct light provided to distribute light of the light emission part 35 to distant places on both sides of the light emission part 35 and to pass light of the light emission part 35, directed substantially orthogonally to the direction of the light distribution, directly to the outside; and direct light reflection surfaces 32A, 32B which are arranged opposite to the openings 41, 42 for direct light of the lens body 31 and distribute the direct light emitted from the openings 41, 42 for direct light to between the distant places on both the sides, a laterally long irradiation area being irradiated with the light distributed by the lens body 31 and the light distributed by the direct light reflection surfaces 32A, 32B. |
