PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent backflow and scattering of condensed water generated by dehumidification and furthermore to increase air volume of a fan device, in a dryer.SOLUTION: A clothes dryer D comprises: a receiving tray part 11 communicating with an upstream side ventilation flue 8a, and for accommodating condensed water W generated in an evaporator 9a; a pump chamber 16 in which a pump 19 for pumping the condensed water W is accommodated and which communicates with a space A outside a circulation ventilation flue; a first communication passage 12 causing the receiving tray part 11 and the pump chamber 16 to communicate with each other, and storing the condensed water W into the pump chamber 16 by guiding the condensed water W accommodated in the receiving tray 11 to the pump chamber 16; and a second communication passage 17 causing the upstream side ventilation flue 8a to communicate with the pump chamber 16 so as to reduce a pressure difference between the receiving tray part 11 and the pump chamber 16. The second communication passage 17 is constituted in such a manner that, when the first communication passage 12 is blocked by the condensed water W stored in the pump chamber 16, the second communication passage 17 maintains the communication between the upstream side ventilation flue 8a and the pump chamber 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
