PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for lithographic printing capable of forming a printing plate of excellent image quality for maintaining identifiable between an image portion and a non-image portion by a simple method for engraving without needing alkali developer and to provide a lithographic printing plate capable of being engraved by directly mounting in a printer without developing after scanning and exposure in a short time and having excellent plate wear resistance and small printing stain on a printed surface. SOLUTION: A lipophilic layer hydrophilized by emitting a laser beam to a surface of at least one metal compound of group IVA to IVA metals of the Periodic Table. An image is recorded on an original plate for printing by emitting an image-like laser beam, the emitted surface is brought into contact with printing ink to form a printed surface receiving the ink on the emitted area, and printed. |
