OPPORTUNISTIC MESSAGE FORWARDING METHOD BASED ON THE RESIDUAL ENERGY OF MOBILE NODES, RECORDING MEDIUM AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

An opportunistic message forwarding method based on the residual energy of mobile nodes comprises the steps of: periodically measuring the energy residual ratio of each node; comparing the energy residual ratio with a preset threshold (Ethr); updating allowable message transmission number and message reception number when the energy residual ratio is smaller than the threshold (Ethr); exchanging a summary vector with a correspondent node when the node is in contact with the correspondent node; extracting a message the correspondent node does not have among the messages of the node; determining whether message forwarding conditions are satisfied based on the residual transmission number of the node, the residual reception number of the correspondent node, and the predictive forwarding rates of the node and the correspondent node; and forwarding the message to the correspondent node when the message forwarding conditions are satisfied. Therefore, the method of the present invention can extend the life of the nodes by efficiently using the energy of the nodes in an opportunistic routing network, thereby improving the overall performance of the network.
