PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coated metal plate capable of keeping high hardness, scratch resistance and heat resistance provided by an alkali silicate-based inorganic coating material, and having imparted nontackiness. SOLUTION: A composite coating film obtained by formulating 10-60 pts.wt. particular filler having 0.05-5.0μm average particle diameter and 10-70 pts.wt. tetrafluoro-based fluororesin based on 100 pts.wt. solid in an aqueous solution of an alkali silicate-based glass, with the aqueous solution is coated on a metal plate so as to form 7-20μm thickness. The composite coating material is coated on the metal plate, and the coated metal plate is baked in the atmosphere of 350-400 deg.C to provide the objective coated metal plate.
