摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress noise and increase in electric power consumption even when idling is performed for a prolonged time in an internal combustion engine having cooling water circulation circuits in two independent systems.SOLUTION: A cooling device for an internal combustion engine includes: a low-temperature system cooling water circulation circuit in which cooling water having a temperature lower than that in the other cooling water circulation circuit is circulated; a high-temperature system cooling water circulation circuit in which cooling water having a temperature higher than that in the low-temperature system cooling water circulation circuit is circulated; a heat radiation amount adjustment device provided in the low-temperature system cooling water circulation circuit to adjust the radiation amount of a radiator; outside air temperature acquisition means; and a control device for controlling the heat radiation amount adjustment device so that a temperature of the cooling water flowing in the low-temperature system cooling water circulation circuit reaches a target temperature. When conditions where idling is continued for a predetermined time or longer, a heater request is made and an outside air temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature are satisfied, the control device sets the target temperature to be higher than that when the conditions are not satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
