PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which can reduce power consumption of the image processing device while reducing waiting time of a user of a terminal device with respect to an authentication request from the terminal device.SOLUTION: By holding up a terminal device 400 to a touch position 301 of an operation panel 300 of an MFP before starting the supply of power to the MFP, authentication information in the terminal device 400 is written in a memory part of the operation panel 300. Subsequently, when the supply of power to the MFP is started, user authentication is executed in the MFP without requiring an operation from the user. Thus, when the start-up of the MFP is completed, the user has already been authenticated in the MFP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
