<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell production method and a cell culture apparatus which are expected to have a higher yield. <P>SOLUTION: A culture vessel 1 is bag-like. Cells 21 are seeded in the culture vessel 1 and the culture vessel 1 is flatly placed and allowed to stand for a fixed time. When a certain time is passed, the seeded cells 21 are settled and brought into contact with an inside wall face 26 on the ground side. When another certain time is passed, the cells are bonded to the inside wall face 26. After a fixed time is passed, the culture vessel 1 is inverted (posture change process). The culture vessel is allowed to stand in an inverted state (second stationary step). When a certain time is passed, the residual cells 21 are settled, the cells are brought into contact with the inside wall face 28 on the ground side.
