PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely send a slide mount into a cartridge. SOLUTION: On the downstream side of a sending-in roller 25, an auxiliary sending roller 26 is arranged having its peak below the peak of the sending-in roller 25. The slide mount 10 and a sort card which are read when a fine scan is made are sent to a mount collection and conveyance part 24. When the front end part of the slide mount 10 pushes up the slide mount 10 stacked in the collection cartridge 7, the front end part of the slide mount 10 abuts against the auxiliary sending roller 26 while the rear end part of the slide mount 10 leaves an assist roller couple 64, so that the slide mount begins to be sent in the collection cartridge 7 by the sending-in roller 25 and auxiliary sending roller 26. By the driving force of the sending-in roller 25 and auxiliary sending roller 26, the slide mount 10 is surely sent to the bottom layer of the collection cartridge 7.
