PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine a motion vector and a pixel value in an occlusion region of an interpolation frame.SOLUTION: An image processing device is an image processing device that generates an interpolation frame to be interpolated between a first frame and a second frame, and allocating a motion vector from a first frame to a second frame to an interpolation frame, extracts, as a pixel of interest, a pixel to which no motion vector is allocated, calculates a first difference degree between a pixel indicated by a candidate vector as an allocated motion vector in the first region around the pixel of interest and a pixel indicated when this candidate vector is allocated to the pixel interest, calculates a second difference degree from a vector calculated from an allocated motion vector in a second region broader than the first region and the candidate vector, and generates an interpolation frame including pixels to which no motion vector is allocated, based on a combination weight obtained by combining the first difference degree and the second difference degree.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
