The push-button switch includes a fixture connection (2) for holding a pivoting contact (4) and a fixed connection (3), with which the movable contact can be brought into contact. Both contacts are arranged parallel to each other on an internal floor surface area of a casing (1). A slider part (5) for tipping the movable contact (4) is provided in the casing, to enable switching the arrangement on and off. A spring element (6) is provided between the slider part and the movable contact, for pushing the slider part in a direction opposite the push direction of the slider part. The slider part is provided with activation areas (5b, 5c) for tipping the movable contact through engaging at a part of the movable contact during its reciprocal movement.
