PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush excellent in advancing property of tips of bristles into an interdental part and a tooth neck part and high in brushing feeling. SOLUTION: A plurality of bundles of bristles 2 constituted by binding a plurality of brushes into bundles are planted on a bristle planting surface of a toothbrush head part. In the case, at least a part of the bundles of bristles 2 are constituted by using brushes 1 which have long shafts and short shafts in sectional shape and are formed into tapered shapes 1a in tips of bristles. Each brush 1 constituting the bundles of bristles 2 is arranged so that the long shaft direction A may be almost parallel to a center line O-O of the longitudinal direction of a toothbrush handle.
