PURPOSE: An additional service execute method and apparatus in a flip type automobile communication terminal device capable of performing additional functions when a function key is selected in a state that a flip cover is shut by inputting additional functions to a function key installed at an outer side of a flip cover are provided. CONSTITUTION: The additional service execute apparatus in a flip type automobile communication terminal device comprising: a key input section having a number key, a mode select key for selecting duplicate set mode, a function key installed at an outer side of a flip cover for performing additional functions; a mode state storage section(32) for registering and storing an additional function duplicate set mode according to a control signal when the mode select key is selected; a flip sensor(33) for sensing opening/closing of the flip cover; a menu storage section(34) for storing additional function data; and a controller(35) for detecting opening/closing state of the flip cover by the flip sensor(33) when a user selects the function key in a state that a duplicate set mode is registered in the mode state storage section(32).
