PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding metal mold where a void never occurs in a molded article by smoothly discharging internal air in a cavity to outside, and to provide a resin sealing apparatus and a resin sealing method. SOLUTION: The peripheral edge of a substrate 122 is inserted and held between a lower metal mold 300 and an upper metal mold 200 provided with a recess serving as a cavity 204. A plurality of gates 207 communicated with the cavity 204 are provided at the lower end face of one of the four edges of the upper metal mold 200 forming the cavity 204, and a plurality of a main air vent 209 are provided at the lower end face of an opposing edge opposing one edge provided with the gate 207. Then, at the inner edge of the lower end face of the opposing edge opposing one edge provided with the gate 207, a sub air vent 208 communicated with the cavity 205 and the main air vent 209 is provided along the opposing edge.
