PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a griddle that can effectively prevent meat juice from dripping down onto a heating source and that can also effectively heat food. SOLUTION: The griddle is provided with: a pair of tapered parts 201 facing oppositely by being tilted downward from both ends to the center; a griddle body 2 having a bottom 202 formed which is situated near the joint of the tapered parts 201; dripping holes 3 formed on the bottom 202 of the griddle body 2; and a plurality of grooves 4 which are formed by recessing the tapered part 201 to the lower side nearly in a half-cylindrical shape and which are arranged with the longitudinal direction facing in the same direction as the inclination direction of the tapered part 201. The grooves 4 are formed in two rows in a direction orthogonal to the inclination direction of the tapered parts 201, thereby providing center side grooves 4A situated near the bottom 202 and outer side grooves 4B situated further away from the bottom part than the center side grooves 4A.
