PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant system and its information display method which reduces the electric power consumption of a CPU by continuously sending image data to a display device from the CPU. SOLUTION: A display element (LCD display element) 20 of the personal digital assistant system 10 is provided with an image memory section 21 and a display panel 22. During the period when a user operates the personal digital assistant system 10, the updated image data are successively sent to the display element 20 through a display controller 17 from the CPU 12. On the other hand, during the period when the user suspends the operating of the personal digital assistant system 10, the suspension image data previously stored in the image memory section 21 of the display element 20 from the CPU 12 are displayed on the display panel 22 and the image transmission operation of the CPU 12 is suspended, and thereby the electric power consumption is reduced.
