PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program of calculating the extent of movement, an apparatus therefor and a method of calculating the extent of the movement for easily measuring the actual extent of the movement, to secure the easiness and correctness of the measurement of the extent of the movement and, in addition, to make prediction of the extent of the movement possible. SOLUTION: An input means inputs the length and thickness of a sheet before the bending work of the sheet, the bending angle of bending work and the height from the outer plane on one side to the farthest end on the other side of the sheet after bending work is performed. A calculating means calculates the actual extent of the movement which is the true extent of the movement at the bending work by using a calculation formula which is stored in a storage means on the basis of each inputted value.
