<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for transmitting animations with advertisements, capable of inserting the advertisements to user animations. <P>SOLUTION: A number of user animation files uploaded from a first client computer 1 or the like are stored in a user animation database 21. When the user animation file is requested from a second client computer 2, the requested user animation file is read from the user animation database 21. Also, an advertisement animation to be inserted to the user animation indicated by the read user animation file is determined, and an advertisement animation file indicating the determined advertisement animation is read from an advertisement animation database 22.
