PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine which inhibits temperature rise of a bumper.SOLUTION: A driving machine 10 has: a piston 16 to which a driver blade 12 is attached; and a cylinder 17 housing the piston 16. The driving machine 10 includes: a cylinder case 15 housing the cylinder 17; a bumper 52 disposed in the cylinder case 15 and with which the piston 16 collides; a pressure chamber which is provided in the cylinder case 15 and presses the piston 16 toward the bumper 52; an air chamber 66 formed between the piston 16 and the bumper 52; and a first ventilation path 63, a second ventilation path 64 and a third ventilation path 65 connecting the outside of the cylinder case 15 with the air chamber 66. Each ventilation path introduces air existing outside the cylinder case 15 into the air chamber 66 in a process in which the piston 16 moves away from the bumper 52 and exhausts air in the air chamber 66 to the outside of the cylinder case 15 in a process in which the piston 16 moves close to the bumper 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
