Method and single- or multi-platen press for producing fibre boards, especially OSB board

The method for producing wood-material building plates consists of loading mats of wood strands and bonding agents into a press, compressing them in two stages, with introduction of steam between the stages, and finally hardening them. An independent claim is also included for a press serving for implementation of the proposed method.
