PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information processing system capable of improving the reliability of cache data while improving the performance of a write operation by a cache operation.SOLUTION: Under control of a control circuit 4, a save operation and a return operation are performed between a nonvolatile memory 6 and a volatile memory 7. The save operation is an operation for storing, in the nonvolatile memory 6, cache data ND that is save data capable of being restored to cache data VD and a cache ID table NT for instructing memory ID data MD to be associated with the cache data ND at save timing. The return operation is an operation for transferring, to the volatile memory 7, the cache data VD obtained by restoring the cache data ND corresponding to the memory ID data MD that has matched the memory ID data MD read from a semiconductor memory 2 out of at least one memory ID data MD instructed by the cache ID table NT at return timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
