PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new glucose dehydrogenase excellent in affinity to a base, thermal stability and the like and suited for use with an SMBG (Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose) sensor, and to provide a method for producing the same, and its applications.SOLUTION: A flavin-linked glucose dehydrogenase is composed of either of the following polypeptides (a)-(c): (a) a polypeptide consisting of a specific amino acid sequence; (b) a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence wherein one or several amino acid residues are substituted, deleted, inserted, added and/or inverted, and having glucose dehydrogenase activity; and (c) a polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence with 80% or more identity to the amino acid sequence and having glucose dehydrogenase activity. |
