PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the safety of an operator in a cab when a shovel body topples over.SOLUTION: A shovel comprises an air bag 50 that inflates along the front inner side and lateral inner side of a cab 10. The shovel also comprises an inclination detector 40 that detects the inclination of the body and a controller 30 that controls the inflation of the air bag 50. The controller 30 determines whether to inflate the air bag 50 on the basis of output from the inclination detector 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
