PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle spring which protects a cylindrical elastic layer made of rubber from spark and fire without deteriorating performance of the cylindrical elastic layer such as vibration control performance and durability.SOLUTION: An exterior cylinder 2 is provided. A center material 3 which receives a load transmitted from the exterior cylinder 2 is provided. Cylindrical elastic layers 4a, 4b disposed between the exterior cylinder 2 and the center material 3 and having circular truncated cone shapes are provided. A cylindrical fire prevention cover 6 is fastened to the exterior cylinder 2 and the center material 3. The fire prevention cover 6 covers lower surfaces of the cylindrical elastic layers 4a, 4b. Performance of an axle spring 1 itself is not affected. The cylindrical elastic layers 4a, 4b are protected from spark and fire etc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
