METHOD FOR REQUESTING SELF NUMBER OF MOBILE TELEPHONE IN CELLULAR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for requesting a self number of a mobile telephone capable of setting a circumstance in which a user inputs a self number in a cellular system providing a subscriber self number interrupt service is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for requesting a self number of a mobile telephone in a cellular system, the method comprising the steps of: searching a database storing subscriber information and reading information of a corresponding subscriber when a subscriber requests transmission of a call; judging whether a subscriber self number interrupt service is provided and a detection of a self number is needed by using the subscriber information; allowing the transmission of a call when the subscriber self number interrupt service is not provided or the detection of a select number is not needed; requesting a detection of the self number when the subscriber self number interrupt service is provided and the detection of a self number is needed; comparing a self number included in the subscriber information with a number transmitted from a subscriber; allowing the transmission of a call when the self number included in the subscriber information is identical with the number transmitted from a subscriber; and rejecting the transmission of a call when the self number included in the subscriber information is different from the number transmitted from a subscriber
