<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst filter capable of accelerating the decomposing action of a product by ultraviolet rays without the need of a light emitting body such as an ultraviolet lamp and being used over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst filter comprises: a filter member 11 provided with active carbon 15 for capturing the product in the air and a photocatalyst attached to the active carbon 15 for accelerating the decomposing action of the product by the ultraviolet rays; a transmission part 13 formed at the upper part of an instrument panel 3; a transparent member 14 formed on an intake case 5; and a switching door 9 for outdoor air for intermittently interrupting radiation of sunlight 12 to the filter member 11. Thus, since the switching door 9 is separated from the transparent member 14 of the intake case 5 when taking in inner air, the sunlight 12 is radiated to the filter member 11 through the transmission part 13 and the transparent member 14. Also, since the switching door 9 covers the lower part of the transparent member when taking in outdoor air, the radiation of the sunlight 12 to the filter member 11 is interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
