PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocal movement mechanism which effectively suppresses expansion in a curved part of a long body while ensuring stability during drive, and can be made short by suppressing the height as a whole.SOLUTION: The reciprocal movement mechanism comprises: a movable part 3 that is reciprocally movable; a fixed stationary part 4; a long body 2 which is formed from a plurality of cables or the like and curved in an U shape and includes a first extension part 2a at a side of the movable part, a curved part 2b and a second extension part 2c at a side of the stationary part and of which one end is connected to the movable part and the other end is connected to the stationary part; and a support member 5 which includes a support member body 6 and a lock member 10 and supports the long body. The support member body is disposed outside of the long body and the flexure rigidity in a direction opposite to a curvature direction is made greater than flexure rigidity in the curvature direction. The lock member is disposed inside of the long body and connected to the other end side of the support member body while holding the long body therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
