PURPOSE: A method of producing short width film for packing by using band sealing is provided to maximize the productivity of a vinyl for packing, to stabilize the quality thereof, and to ensure good appearance of the vinyl products. CONSTITUTION: A method of producing short width film for packing by using band sealing is applied to a production of vinyl for packing. In order to increase productivity in successive processes of extruding, printing, forming, and the like and to prevent damage of side section, which is a drawback in a conventional tube type film, band sealing is performed in a vertical direction (i.e., in an advance direction of a machine) in a process of extruding. The raw material is subjected to band sealing as several widths of the products simultaneously produced in the vertical direction, printed thereon concurrently, and then splitted into several parts of the widths by knives in a process of winding. According to the present method, since the raw material with wide width is divided into several cuts, productivity is considerably increased and also the width of film for containing any contents is maintained uniformly. In addition, since the side section is subjected to band sealing, the side section is free from damages.
