PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device utilizing protective panels in exterior finishing work of buildings. SOLUTION: This display device has display panels 12 which are thin sheet shape or film shape and are subjected to decoration in at least portions of their one-side surfaces, moving means for moving the moving panels 12 and control means for controlling the moving means. The plural display panels 12 drawn with advertisements 13, etc., are vertically moved by the moving means and the control means on the outside surfaces of the protective panels installed at the outer peripheries in, for example, the external finishing work of the buildings, by which movements may be imparted to the display to draw people's attention. The advertisement effect is thereby improved.
