PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which can obtain a clear image having no stain and no concentration unevenness of ink on various type common paper. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device 1 comprises a recording head 30 which discharges the ink and records the image on paper P, a sheet permeability measuring member 6 which is arranged at an upstream side of a sheet conveying route 5 from the recording head 30 and measures the permeability of the sheet P before printing, an ink discharge amount regulating means which controls the discharge amount of the ink from the recording head 30 based on the measured result obtained from the sheet permeability measuring member 6, and a storage unit which stores the permeability level partitioned from the value of the permeability into a plurality of levels and the discharge amounts of the ink corresponding to the permeability levels. The ink discharge amount regulating means is constituted to control the discharge amount of the ink from the recording head 30 to the discharge amount of the ink corresponding to the permeability level to which the measured result belongs.
