PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yaw damper device for a railway vehicle, the yaw damper device easily reducing vertical vibration of a vehicle body and thereby capable of improving riding comfortableness of the railway vehicle, when the railway vehicle travels at a high speed along a straight line section of rail track.SOLUTION: A yaw damper device 100 includes a pair of yaw dampers 1a, 1b juxtaposed in the front/rear directions of a bogie 3 on the respective right and left sides of the bogie, and each of the pair of yaw dampers is, among its both end parts E1, E2 in expansion/contraction directions, attached to the vehicle body with one end part E1, and attached to the bogie with the other end part E2.
