According to the invention disclosed are a building slab that exhibits high weather resistance and has a film coating applied by ink-jet printing, which doesn’t depend on dryness of a basic coating film, and a method for coating a building slab. The building slab comprises a basic film coating, inkjet film coating and a clear film coating which are sequentially formed on the surface of an inorganic slab. The inkjet film coating is a cured product of a UV-curable ink, and the clear film coating contains 0.1 to 10.0 wt.% of a light stabilizer and/or UV absorbent. The method of producing a building slab includes such steps as application of base coating onto the surface of an inorganic slab, application of inkjet coating by means of UV-curable ink onto the surface of the base-coated inorganic slab and curing the UV-curable ink through irradiation of UV rays, and making of clear coating by application of clear coating material containing 0.1 to 10.0 wt.% of a light stabilizer and/or UV absorbent, on solid basis, onto the surface of the inkjet-coated inorganic slab. |
