PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound output device capable of emitting a more easily audible notification sound.SOLUTION: A sound output device 47 includes: first sound reproduction means 44m that is mounted on an apparatus, and outputs a first sound signal showing an additional sound to an operation sound of the apparatus and having a sound pressure level decreased after the completion of processing by the apparatus than during the execution of the processing; second sound reproduction means 44w that outputs a second sound signal showing a notification sound indicating the completion of the processing by the apparatus, at a predetermined timing after the pressure level of the first sound signal starts to be decreased; and sound output means 45 that emits the additional sound on the basis of the first sound signal output from the first sound reproduction means 44m, and emits the notification sound on the basis of the second sound signal output from the second sound reproduction means 44w. |
