<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel processor whose driving can be started in a short starting time without causing dew condensation at the inside of a shift reactor and a carbon monoxide selective oxidation reactor, to provide a driving method therefor, and to provide a fuel cell system provided with the fuel processor. <P>SOLUTION: The heating of a reformer, a shift reactor and a carbon monoxide selective oxidation reactor is started, thereafter, when the temperature of a shift reaction catalyst layer and the temperature of a carbon monoxide selective oxidation catalyst layer reach the dew point in the steam partial pressure of a hydrogen-containing gas upon the start of a fuel processor or above, the feed of a hydrocarbon raw material and steam to the reformer is started, and in accordance with the increase of the temperature of the shift reactor and the temperature of the carbon monoxide selective oxidation reactor from the start of the fuel processor, the amount of the steam to be fed to the reformer is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
